I'm old enough to remember pre-trolling motor fishing. As a kid I was the the trolling motor, with a paddle.

dugout

ETA:

Fishing: Kayak you can stand in

Hunting: Marsh Seat

I have never had a sling on my shotgun. This year I will have one, I cannot imagine how nice it will be.

Box stand.

Being able to sit comfortably for most of the day has made a huge difference from the old days of sitting on a piece of plywood on top of a homemade ladder stand.

Avet HX 2 speed reel. Much easier to winch in tuna with a 2 speed.

- Thermacell for bow hunting
- Fingerless wool gloves for duck hunting
- Braided line for fishing (use for everything except my crankbait rods)
- Kayak for everything
- Breathable waders for frogging and duck hunting
- Jet sled for dragging in gear on public land
- TX rig decoy system for duck hunting

No Color

How do you feel about rising popularity of 20 gauge for gobbler smashing? Many people have proven choke/load combination that will put as many pellet in a circle at 40 yard than most 12 gaug load.

Most famous turkey killer in LA shot most all his turkey with a 410, and that would amount to couple hundred bird

Super Black Eagle II.

I grew up shooting 870s, started with the 20ga youth model, then the 12. Got a Benelli Nova in college. Last Christmas, my dad regifted a SBEII to me. I figured I would take it out one morning to give her a try.

Long story short, 5 teal came by banking away, and three of them died. I looked down at the gun like I was holding a JDAM. Been hooked ever since. I never realized how far I came off target between pumping the gun.

Yep...bass, catfish, saltwater......everything so far anyway.....I use red colored braid......it's supposed to be harder for the fish to see
