After watching the body camera video of this LEO "shooting himself"

I will no longer entertain debate since you are all clearly fools if you disagree.

LEO and military are tough occupations requiring low crawling one second, or split second scuffles the next. There is no reason why this guy should've been shot here. The gun and its holster should not and cannot be expected to treat their weapon-holster system like a fricking glass vase.

After the second incident, why didn’t Milwaukee ditch the sig?

You so smart. Why did the military want external safeties?

So you are saying a drop test is pointless?

Irony is 320s also had their drop fire issues. I can really understand why people go to bat for this model so much.

So since you’re a smartass: Would a trigger tab safety not stop a drop fire? Hell a DA/SA pistol should still be protected just by the heavier first trigger pull.

Police: DROP THE GUN!!!
Bad guy: it's a p320
Police: Fine!!

You do realize that the military put external safety’s on those 320s don’t you?

What level of understanding do you have f what folks are saying the P320 does? An external safety stops the trigger from breaking. The accusation against sig involves the firing pin spring in the FCU. Two separate components.

How is that any relevant to my post?

Some guy says the 320s must be safe because the military wants them. And I tell him yeah, but they want external safeties which is unlike the weapon you shill for. Why would the military want safeties, and would safeties not help with NDs?

Isn't there a case where one fired during a steel shot competition that a lot of people saw and verified? All said the shooters hands were not near the weapon when it fired.

What? So the lawyers allegations were completely full of shite?

I am shocked. Shocked I tell you.

Yeah, I saw a video of a cop claiming his 320 just went off while he was drawing. In the video you can clearly see his finger in the trigger guard.

Which one? The one involving the gun carried in a gym bag wrapped in clothing? Didn't the plaintiff ask for dismissal of the suit? Seems like some of these folks with ND's are actually at fault.

ETA: Yup, plaintiff sought dismissal.

There have been entirely too many reports of this happening for it to be a non-issue.

The most recent example, with video to-boot, occured in a police station last week.

LINK

Pistol has been verified to be a P320 in a Safariland holster designed for the P320.

The department has issued a statement claiming they are replacing all issued Sig Pistols with Glocks after this event.

There might be a reason for that and nothing to do with the pistols.

TTAG - About those Sig lawsuits

Another TTAG article.

This is beginning to look like the same bogus claims like were made against Remington again. Basically a bunch of people having ND's and want to blame the gun to save face.
