If you can pull it off in cash you may be ok. If borrowing be mindful its VERY seasonal. One way to get some cash flow, maybe enough to pay the bills during the slow times is to look at long term RV parking. Some places have year leases and allow covers, patio's etc to be built. If you have cabins maybe try to line up guides to use your cabins. Maybe start with a couple of cabins/trailers with covered parking for boats and some long term rv pads and see how it goes from there. I had a camp between housen and six mile and like some already said, It's either jam packed or a ghost town,,,
Probably right, if he really wanted to coach why didn't he coach here
This is true..........but if they miss on Kiffen I would not be disappointed unless they get some uninspired current head coach. I'd love to see a young guy with fire run with it. I think this is a place that could take someone that runs and inspires a good lower tier program and make him a superstar.
We are buying a ham and a fried turkey
Im also smoking a turkey and making a gravy
rice dressing
cornbread dressing
mirliton with shrimp
sweet potato crunch
potato salad
Others are handling candy, desserts etc and breads
Settle this thing and move on. Pay BK 20 million up front and 200k per mo for 6 years. If he coaches again he gives up the 200k per mo. After investing the 20 million and adding the 200k per mo he should get north of 40 million over the 6 years. Cost LSU 20 million,,he 200k per mo is hot dog money to LSU.

I'd suggest you go to a local range with someone familiar with shooting and bring some guns and or rent a couple to get a little more comfortable with your decision. The shield plus is 13+1 and shoots well. Its a smaller platform. You may prefer a larger pistol, but you don't know. If you do not want to spend a little time learning your pistol and getting comfortable with loading, clearing malfunctions and basic shooting skills I would tell you to just get a revolver. A pistol with 19 round capacity won't do you any good if you stovepipe the first round because you limpwrist it and can't clear the malfunction.

Unhook everything except the bow eye. Back in til the back slightly floats. Unhook the front get in and drive it off the trailer to tie up. Been doing it this way for 50 years
Yea,,you get what you pay for. Maybe wi need a 5 million dollar coach and spend the other 10 million on an offensive line
A jackhammer and a bag of senko's

I carried a p365 for years, a bump won't make them fire. However the recent issues made me look hard. I do find the trigger almost as wide as the trigger guard and pretty close to the kydex walls. It can be pulled with a fingernail on the edge of the trigger, or just a drag along the edge.Went back to a dongle trigger. I'm back to a 26 and 43. Playing with the shield plus and BG2.0 too.
All these places should accept cash. You can't even go to a high school game without buying tickets online. It does say for all debts public and private on the bills. Not my fault your people steal cash from you......Guess they think its better for them to steal from the customers credit cards.
I seldom order a shrimp poboy anymore because of this. For me, the worse thing is one of those overstuffed poboys filled with those small frozen bag shrimp that taste nothing but batter/breading. Put large shrimp that taste like shrimp, clean them, devein them. Doesn't have to be overstuffed and it does not take a ton of shrimp. Is there anyone left that makes a real shrimp poboy??
I agree with adding those when you fluff the rice when you cut the fire. I would make the jambalaya with some shrimp in it and add those at the end, or use shrimp stock for the flavor. I make shrimp and sausage jambalaya all the time. Its actually my favorite jambalaya. I always add a couple of bay leaves when I lower the fire.

I still go to the G43 for some instances, also playing with the new bodyguard which is pretty comfortable in comparison to most 10-12 round options

re: Cooking ribs on gas grill

Posted by jcdogfish on 8/28/25 at 4:26 pm to
You can cook them fairly quick on a gas grill. Season ribs and grill until the meat starts pulling up the bone and you have good color. Then sauce the ribs and wrap in foil with a little liquid, beer works. put the wrapped ribs on a spot with that burner off/no direct heat. I usually keep just 1 burner on to keep the grill around 275-300. Leave them wrapped on the grill for 75 minutes. I then unwrap and pass them on the grill for a few minutes to dry them out then add the final sauce.
When I lived in the country and had a 40 x 60 shop I blasted and repainted a couple of Ranger trailers as well as re-furb jobs on the Go Devil trailers as well as utility trailers. Can't do any of that where I live now, that's why I'm trying to find a place. May end up just buying a new trailer when the time comes.
We eat out 5-6 times a week for dinner and 5 days a week for lunch. Lots of changes since 2019 and very little for the better.
I'd like to get my trailer repainted, boards etc. Any local suggestions??
Louisiana needs a sportsman's organization with enough numbers to get the attention of politicians. That would mean a diverse organization that has several sections that include several different activities. Until all sportsmen unite and can put pressure of 50-100000 or more votes on the politicians nothing will get done. Sportsmen will never have enough money to fight the big lobby groups so it has to be done with numbers and votes.
We eat out a lot, and have absolutely noticed a decline in food quality. Especially in what I call the mid tier everyday restaurants. Changes in food prep, going to easier ways to prepare dishes. Some went to lower quality items. Also notice smaller servings to go with the crazy price hikes and now having some salads and sides as extras. The upper mid tier and higher end spots seem to be holding pretty well. I'm sure its about lack of quality employees and getting lower quality items to save some costs. If you don't eat sushi, mexican, mediterranean and fast food chains its tough

re: Bass Jig Preferences

I like red eyes on a swim jig. I have several molds at Cast, jigs, swim jigs, spinnerbaits. Bought them from a company and made a few. Never did anything with them other than personal use.
