I don’t understand his argument either. If I understood him correctly he claimed the trigger mechanism is the same across all Sig Sauers.

The 320 is the model in question. The triggers are the same across that model.

Glock triggers are the same across all their models because all their models are basically the same.

It was a silly argument to try to squirm out of a losing argument. Don't know why he bumped this

What is this supposed to mean? They're issued across a wide variety of PD's in the US.

They’re banned in a wide variety as well. Do you have proof they’re even a popular weapon?

I see one mention of the 230 here. My 226 is more popular which makes fricking sense. They’re safer. First trigger pull is heavier.

Who is trained enough to hold these ND machines?

The problems the 320 had was a drop fire issue. This lawsuit has nothing to do with drop fires.

According to a WaPo article, Sig says they've sold hundreds of thousands. That seems pretty popular to me.

Still not seeing your point here.

Oh, I see the point. You just wanted to remind everyone again that you have a 226. Congratulations, man. You did it.

Not sure if you've noticed over the last 3 years, but the latest crop of cops joining up is near the bottom of the barrel.

I didn’t make the claim that the 320 was a popular duty weapon for LEO. Someone else did. That popularity is set to wane…. Great link.

Ninety-five percent of Milwaukee Police officers are now carrying a Glock pistol as their new service weapon, signaling the near completion of the department's transition away from the Sig Sauer P320, a gun suspected of firing on its own.

According to police officials, 83 of the department's 1,572 sworn officers still have yet to complete the training to carry the new weapon.

"He had bent over to look under some seats or something and his partner's squad cam video shows that, you know, he's just going into the car and that's when his weapon fired and injured his partner.

Have anything to back that up?

I have had hand guns for 32ish years. Got my first one sometime around the age of 6 or 7 to shoot rats off the tractor with.

I can walk outside right now, fire a shot out of a box stock glock, no practice shots, and ring a silhouette at 225 yards.

So yes, I would say I am more competent with a firearm than 99% of police officers.

I've never met a cop who didn't accidentally point a gun at someone constantly. Some dumb arse state trooper at the doctor's office earlier was finger fricking his Glock while standing in line to pay.

That is the exact sort of behavior that causes accidental discharges.

Rule 1: A gun as always handled with a purpose.

Rule 2: don't point a gun at anything you wouldn't be okay with destroying.

You could ignore every other rule of firearm safety of your just followed those two.

Cops skip those two.

I can film it?

It isnt exactly hard. A silhouette is 18 inches wide and 24 inches or so high.

Aim 3ft above the head and you'll hit center mass.

Want me to film it with a 9mm or a .22 beretta neos?

I can still do both.

As for the rentacop who thinks cops aren't complacent morons with firearms... You do you.

Pretty sure Bapple is the one who came out to the range at the house in Iberville and watched me hang 5 or 6 pieces of brass in the air while transitioning between three targets.

It isn't THAT hard once you practice.

No. I just think y’all are fricking pathetic. Only here can I hear how terrible cops are with their weapons. Somehow you are always the smartest person in the room as well. You pretend like you see cops pointing their weapon at everyone (flagging them) every time. That’s a damn lie. You suggested handing a weapon to a cop is like handing a weapon to a teething toddler. What a stupid analogy. I understand complacency but your description of cops training isn’t complacency. It’s a mismatch of stupid words uttered from your mouth.

And yes. Video it.

You lie a shite ton.

How do you know when you are aiming 3ft over the target? Your pistol will be covering the entire target, and you will be focused on the from sight as well.

When you take this shot do you hold for wind or does the wind not affect the 9mm or .22LR at this distance?

I have a Sig P320 with a gray guns trigger kit. It has a 3.5lb trigger. It sits in a holster next to my nightstand. I would find it hard to believe that the gun could go off without pulling the trigger.

I agree, My X5 Legion has had tens of thousands of rounds, is pretty wore out, and has never once fired on its own.

Sitting at rest, I dont think there is any way these pistols are firing.

It has to be a bump or a jolt and very little sear contact causing it to fire.
