It’s happening, boys.

In 2.5 hours I’m gonna put a 3D printed plug into my SBA3 brace and shoulder it. Take that, ATF!

Well this is freaky. I literally just did that to my SBA3 earlier this evening.

Does this mean you can 3d print a suppressor with no paperwork? Buy one at a retail store?

just ordered a SOPMOD stock. As soon as it gets here. A brand new, REAL, baby mk18 mod 0 will be born. (Well, without the go fast switch, but still).

3 southern states still have a state level NFA process in place

MS
GA
NC

eta: also, SBRs and SBSs still require a Form 4 because the Gun Control Act of 1968 require approval from the Attorney General. The only way to get that approval is from the Form 4... so, you with plugs in your braces, you may want to remove them for now.

Wake me up when I can walk into a gun store and buy cans and SBR’s the same day.

I will say I’ve been hearing you can buy a can at academy now and maybe even bass pro.

If you follow the money and those two big giants have started getting into the can game?????

That’s a good point. Like 50ml becoming legal in Louisiana when total Wine enters the chat.

Looks like PSA and Silencerco are moving forward with 4473 only suppressor sales.

It does, but shipped where? The LGS will still have to be willing to do the transfer?

And that needs to be next. It is not a weapon and an accessory just like a scope.

Not sure about Silencerco but looks like PSA is saying they will do them in store.

I'm hoping this spawns completely new models. Waiting for a true sbr in 9mm. Or, one in whatever my next pistol caliber is.

No, they're still legally firearms per the NFA (that part wasn't part of the ruling), so they're treated like any other firearm sale.

Although that begs the question - can covered members (i.e. GOA, FPC, etc. members) transfer/sell a suppressor privately?
