My dealer can not get a straight answer from the ATF as to what he can do so he is erring on the side of caution and is holding off on doing any transfers only via form 4473. I was ready to buy a couple this morning, his advise was hold off a bit, he said it's a typical government cluster f.

I called my FFL earlier and same thing with them. Unclear how to proceed. I told him I'd buy from Silencer Shop and show him my GOA membership but no go for now.

Went to see my local dealer y-day. They do a ton of silencer sells. One of silencer shops biggest retailers (if that's the proper term).

They said that will be probably around 60 days before they get direction from the ATF.

Going to stop by a couple places later today and see if anybody local has the cojones to do it on a 4473.

In North LA and will report back if any of the shops will do it.

Interstate Guns in Hammond just sent out an email saying they will do it on just a 4473 for select suppressors in stock.

eta: also, SBRs and SBSs still require a Form 4 because the Gun Control Act of 1968 require approval from the Attorney General. The only way to get that approval is from the Form 4... so, you with plugs in your braces, you may want to remove them for now.
Nah, I'm gonna Rosa Parks this thing.

I'll be putting stocks on my APC9, SP5k and 14" AR now.

Both APC9 and SP5k have tail hooks on them currently and have to wait on the stocks that fit to be in stock.

Gotta make this train too fast and heavy to stop. Overwhelm the system.

Late to the party on this thing, but the ruling legalizes SBR and suppressors correct? Or at least removes the need for the stamp?

It removes the registration requirement. Obviously they were already legal.

More the latter, but it's more complicated than that for the time being. TideCPA has posted some good info across a few threads. Read his posts.

I don’t think it’s true anyways. A couple of Google searches didn’t bring up anything and PSA hasn’t mentioned it either.

That video is the first I’ve heard of it.

Went to LGS again this afternoon.

They said that a pistol will still be a pistol and if you want to put a stock on it, you have to SBR it.

Also said that the ATF called them today and said to not do anything right now. They hope to have some clarity maybe on Monday. But small chance it will be tomorrow.
