I don’t give a shite what you do to a coyote, but if it appears to be uneccessarily cruel to the general population and is going to give other folks that enjoy the sport a bad rap...don’t publicize it on facebook. Every time I catch hogs in my traps which is pretty often. I gut shoot all of them in the trap. Then I open the trap and they all run out. I then re bait trap and repeat.
But I don't post on facespace if that makes you feel better.
P.s. I kill coyote in any inhumane way I can. When you start losing calves you will understand my hatred.

Wtf??? Lost calves and other livestock t dogs and yotes but have never intentionally wounded them

It's disturbing to me how many on here have no compunction about deliberately wounding an animal so that it suffers.
Not surprising, I guess, but very disturbing.
And we wonder why the shooting sports get looked down upon by people. And our gun rights are being eroded constantly. Well, wonder no more.

I know soybean farmers that do the same thing. Stand around bragging about gut shooting deer, then bow up if you ask them to hunt their land.

If I head a shoot them then I have to drag them out. I spend enough time and money fixing what they screw up.

Fundamentally, you always try and humanely kill an animal. You also only kill animals you intend to eat, or to protect yourself or your livelihood.

Had a coyote in my driveway about 150 yards away this morning. It was nose to nose with a 400lb bull calf at the barbed wire fence. My mom has 2 German shepherds that will play with the calves so I don't doubt this played a part in this calfs lack of fear. Had it been a new born im sure the results would have been different
Anyway, took a quick shot at it with open sights M-16A1.( Scoped deer rifles are at the camp) He looked hit but couldn't find any blood. Gut shot

A REAL man and hunter would never do this.
We have kicked members out of our lease for bragging on gut shooting hogs, too.
