None of that is gonna happen. In fact, the crazier the proposal, the greater the backlash.

The grenade launcher part kind of made me laugh

“(i) a folding or telescoping stock;

“(ii) a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon;

“(iii) a bayonet mount;

“(iv) a flash suppressor or threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor; and

The suppressors always crack me up. They make guns safer for the users and really don’t make them easier to hide if you’re committing crimes. Everyone thinks it’s like the movies where you can take out 100 people silently without anyone hearing.

Can I get a tax stamp for one of these? What's the current grenade availability look like? I bet prices are through the roof.

Keep in mind that the vast majority of people who author firearms laws have never held or fired a gun. Crazy I know.

At least they’re not messing with slings, because you know you COULD choke someone with one. Damn, I should have kept my mouth shut on that one.

You obviously don't understand what they are doing. They will start with the craziest that they know will be rejected so that something smaller and more "sensible" will go through. They can't eat the whole elephant, but will slowly take bites until it is dead.

Somebody in congress needs to nut up and say " how about we try enforcing the EXISTING laws FIRST"
