Vote now goes to the full house for consideration

Call your representatives and Senators and let them know you expect them to support this legislation. Unless, of course you’re a douche who thinks wealthy land owners should have exclusive access to the resources your tax dollars pay for.

This is such a shitty statement.

Does this also include their houses? Deer hunting land? Bank accounts?

I think it's funny the attitude some of these people take. "Put a levee and stop the fish from going in or out"... but they're the same ones to bitch about people fencing their land off for deer

Yes, this thread should carry me through the rest of the work day.

I think y’all are paying attention to the wrong story here. The big story of the day is this one.

Louisiana law to ban sex with animals wins Senate vote 25 - 10

What good is water access if I can’t use it to go have sex with animals?

I am bummed about one of the two rulings. I will let you figure out which one.

If it’s their land they should be able to do whatever they want. If not then people like you trespass on property, get hurt while said trespassing and then sue. If you want to go to the water go to the public access or man up and buy you some property.

Yep. Screw the land owners, all land should be public. But let one of my Walker dogs run across their shitty deer lease and see how the tune changes.

Isn't LA the only state that doesn't already do this? People don't own the water in Alabama, unless it's a tiny stream or private pond.

I hope you die trying to fish someone's private land. Tired of your kind and inability to have an honest debate without throwing out ad hominem attacks on people that disagree with you.

BTW, I own zero land. Have you even thought about the clusterfrick that will result from this?

I love how people equate water to land. Water isn’t land and if my fricking tax dollars and conservation dollars are going to be used for coastal restoration then I expect to be able to utilize that coast whether it’s to catch fish, shoot ducks or just pass through.
