The last 2 times I have been has been bad. There was a good bit of snot grass. I drove by today and you could see grass lines under the water. I kinda want to go throw a frog and see what happens. Last year during the spawn was much more fishable than this year.

Mine was not tight. Took the boat to the marsh for the first time with the new motor and new trolling motor. Motor ran like a dream, of course. Had the wires crossed on the fricking trolling motor so it spun the wrong way. Started to change em up, but it started lightening so i shagged arse. Made one cast before realizing the trolling motor was fricked. Wonderful day. But i did come home and clean the shite out of the boat, motor, and trailer. Maybe ill try again tomorrow.

West Cove. Was messing around in some of those back channel areas for most of the morning trying to get out of the wind. Caught lightning in a bottle on the way out when we found some birds working. Caught the last 8 trout in about 10 minutes.

crap, total crap. broke a $150 rod, caught NOTHING, got bit by ants and gnats, had to drop a duce w/o toilet paper, and left the beer at home.

Went down to Montegut this morning looking for reds and specks. Goose egged on keepers. Tons of boats, didn’t see anyone catching. Should have went to PAC or Cocodrie.

Could have been better today. Loaded up with live shrimp to take my boy to Cat Island. Made it half mile out of the harbor and buzzer went off on the motor. Putted over to a nearby reef and caught a bunch of dink trout for a couple hours.

Went for a quick trip to Shell Beach this morning with my dad. We got a late start so we decided to stay pretty close to Campos. We caught 15 trout, 1 bass, 1 red, and a few sheephead. My old man dropped a sheephead on his foot and it broke a fin off in his toe so we shut it down and headed in at 10. The wind was getting pretty bad when we left.
