An absolute fishing machine for overnighters... Bunks and kitchen inside the cabin.

Yeah it’s aluminum. It’s insulated with A/C so very cool inside.

Rather than start a new thread, bumping this one.

Anyone there this week? Want to make a trip soon, hoping the water has cleared up.

Looking at the same thing, maybe making the trip up and fish Friday. Haven’t fished there in years though.

Looks like I’ll miss the North wind by a day or so.

Fished Elmer's this morning. (The amount of boats out there for a Wednesday was ridiculous). Water clarity was probably a foot or so. Relatively calm morning but not a great tide.
Fishing seemed kind of slow all around. I finished with a couple of specs and a handful of ground mullet. Also scooped up about a dozen crabs with a hand net, so it really wasn't the worst day ever

Yeah I’m thinking with Father’s Day weekend looming the traffic will get crazy as the weekend nears.

I'm heading down there tomorrow morning through Friday. Thinking about using croakers on a carolina rig from the surf. Should be good conditions looking at the wind and rain chances.

Good luck. Report back if you don’t mind. Would love to make the trip but will have the kiddos with me so if the number of boats is outrageous, ill likely run them somewhere else.

I'll report back.

I do have a question. Do the clumps of rocks that are close to Port Fourchon beach hold a lot of fish? I know the jetties that come out of Bayou Lafourche/Belle Passe holds fish, but I wanted to try those clumps of rocks if it's worth it.
