He also has a box stand facing his feeder, which is facing my property. I have 20 acres in the woods. The neighbor has 10 acres of wooded land that directly borders my land. I'm an unconventional guy so what do you guys think of this? This won't make a sound or smell to scare away deer on the back of my property where I hunt but should 100% keep them away from the area where the corn is. I also just think it's hilarious. If you're the type of guy to set a feeder up on the property line, I'm the type of guy to return serve. I think this would be a nice addition the day before rifle starts, aka Halloween night. I could only imagine as the sun starts to rise on opening day their thoughts of this mysterious thing up in the air moving about in the wind.

On only 10 and 20 acres, how can the corn feeder not be close to a property line?

Our neighbor put a feeder literally on the property line of one of our fields .He then called me when my 14 year old son was coon hunting (on our property) at night . He said his wife didn’t like the noise of guns .
He moved his feeder.

set up a makeshift box blind within sight of his blind. Atleast this way any temptation to shoot across the line will met with the thought you might be in your box blind and come out lookin to throw down.

As far as feeder next to line, not much you can do other than mess up enough of his hunts to make him move it. Almost a guarantee its some walmart hunter without a clue.

He shouldn't be facing your property but the feeder is on his. Tell him to put his box stand on the line too. He can then hunt his own property

I can imagine, you have wasted $60.00 to $80.00 to piss off a guy with a high powered rifle, If this is a saftey concearn to you, why couldn't you just call him and talk it out?

Talk to said neighbor about shooting towards/into your property being a safety issue. That you plan to be hunting in that area of your property. Ask him to change his setup. If he refuses contact the local game warden, and ask him to come out and view the setup where he's shooting into your property.

A guy next to my friends’s lease in Cotilla Tx. Did the same Thing put, a tripod feeder on the line. Actually one of the pods was over the line. We just started hauling all the hog and deer carcasses right to his feeder.

Do you want your neighbor telling you what to do on your property?

It's actually quite easy to achieve on 870k square feet, or even on only 435k sq feet.

In Louisiana I'm pretty sure the law is you can't hunt within 50 yards of a property line. So a feeder would tend to be illegal if it's 20 feet off the line. You could certainly argue it enough to get him to move it, or get the sheriff to tell him to.

That assumption is incorrect, if it is illegal to hunt within 50 yards that does not equate to a feeder being illegal…..
again My advice is to de escalate, talk to the neighbor, see what y’all can come up with
I have fought with neighbors and have had neighbors as best friends, want to know which one makes my life more enjoyable?
