That’s a hell of a bump there Capt. Sounds like they make a shite product and you got suckered on it. I hope they get all they deserve from the law and you win your suit.

Sounds like the boat was destined to fail at some point anyway. Luckily it didn't happen in a few.more years. Hopefully you have some recourse.

Any updates on this? I started looking into getting a custom aluminum boat and found this thread. Sounds like I need to scratch Cottonmouth off the list.

You should try and make a warranty claim and let us know how that goes.

Just saw an article in the Sadvocate from September of this year saying he only got 32 months. Not sure if it's true, but here's the link, it's a paid link, unfortunately.

32 months for over a billion in charges?

I'll do 32 months in the pen to never have to work again and I'm sure my wife would enjoy the break.

Have a cottonmouth. Actually like the boat and haven’t had any issues. 1954 with a 140 Suzuki. Dealt with Kevin sparingly. The dude who ran the shop was shady af.

Might want to do ur homework on that comment. There’s SEVERAL people that have serious issues with his work also! I know one guy is in a lawsuit with him now. It’s actually over the inboard mudboat on his web page.

Have had a prodigy, a timber creek, and an uncle J built. By far the build I was most pleased with was my Uncle J. Jason builds a damn good boat and is a pleasure to deal with. Curious as to what the guy you know is suing Uncle J for. Have never heard of anyone having issues with them.

In Florida you can be a 2 term governor and current senator for defrauding Medicare out of this amount. 0 time served

I'm gonna guess that he has to pay it all back plus some.

And who exposed them? A whistleblower?

Did you know that whistleblowers can get rewards? Oberheiden P.C., a law firm, mentions this on their site.

I’m curious as well. He built me a boat ten years ago and I’ve never had an issue, same for my buddy that got one three years ago.

Welcome to America. You get more time in prison for stealing $120 from a 711 than for stealing $1B from every American.

Paula Pennington's son is currently doing 18 months for a multi-million dollar scheme. No better life than a trust fund baby, I guess.
