What is everyone shooting now days?

I have a 10 year old Hoyt but looking to upgrade to a faster, newer bow.

PSE X-Force Vendetta. It's short and fast. I got it on sale too. It does everything I could ask. My wife shoots a Parker and it's a fine bow.

Hoyt PowerMax. For the money it's more than impressive. Couldn't be happier, though most new bows from major manufacturers are all good choices. I'd rather spend less on the bow and more on the arrows and accessories.

I have a bowtech insanity cpx. It's an incredible bow but I can't recommend a bowtech unless you are ok with having it tuned pretty regularly.

I'm still shooting my Mathews SBXT... as long as it keeps killing, I'll keep shooting it.

I highly recommend getting on archerytalk.com classifieds and buying any Hoyt or Matthews made within the last 5 years. Save yourself a large chunk of change.

I bought a Hoyt Alphamax a few years ago loaded out with a dozen fmjs and rage broadheads for 700. Easily a 1300 set up at the time. Was from a bow shop owner that demos a new bow each year. My brother did the same thing with a Matthews Z7 Extreme.

I agree Archerytalk is a great place to buy a bow. I've bought and sold on there before. Bought this one new this time. I really like this bow.

Love it. When I buy a new bow it'll be a Hoyt

I went and shot them today. Went with the Matthews Halon 32. It was a little heavier than the others but shot really smooth.

Guy at the shop said (after I chose it) it has been their hottest bow.

Mathews Halon 32. Had the original Halon. The 32 is a tad steadier and smoother.
