Me and the wife are doing a multi day float trip in March. I'm used to multi day backpacking/float trips, but my wife is not. The only camping we have done together has been in campgrounds.

So my question is what do I need to bring to make this more comfortable for her so that she will want to do this type of stuff again. I do not want her to be miserable.

Portable potty thing?

Anything else?

Potty is number one with everything else a far second from what I have experienced.

Dirt Devil Handheld Vacuum.

Is she normally OK with peeing/shitting in the woods? Mine is fairly country and peed on the side of a gravel road deer hunting this year quite a few times so I wouldnt worry about her if we went on a prolonged trip. You know her better than anyone so I would think you would be the best to answer that question. If you have any doubts about how comfortable she would be out there, then that's more than likely a preconceived notion coming from something of merit based off of what you know about her. I guess the universal thing about women is that they dont like to be cold so ensuring she has a quality sleeping bag rated for sub 32 would prlly be a good idea.

Any way your entire house can fit in your boat? That's pretty much all you'll need.

I've got really good backpacking gear, so I'm not really worried about her staying warm so much

more concerned about personal hygiene things that I might not consider since I don't really care about that when I'm camping

she isn't that outdoorsy, but she tries

Bring a drain so she can clog it with hair and a shelf that looks like a shower shelf so she can load it up with empty conditioner bottles
