Looking to get a decent pair binoculars. They will mainly be used to glass wildlife while hunting. I’m not looking to break the bank but want/need something that I can count points on a deer rack and estimate antler spreads from 100 yards out. Hopefully I can find something in the $100 range...
TIA

Added a link for you to the crossfire's. Occasionally the diamondbacks will come in at $150 on there too.

I went from Bushnell's to vortex this past year. Like night to day.

Also, I picked up a harness for another $30

Yeah, as the others have said dont e afraid to step it up a tad in price. Dont wanna ground check a nubbin while thinking doe. Which does suck. Lol
Im all about Canon image stabilizing binos but those will set you back. Which is why I dont own a pair. Get the best you can muster.

These Leupolds get lots of love on 24hourcampfire and fit your budget. I linked from Dicks only to let you know you can go there to look through them then order somewhere else if you like.

I bought a pair of these Nikons and they are my "go to" pair for here and Wyoming. I really like the 10x-22x feature on them for long distance.

Nikon Acculon ($120 or so) at Academy are pretty hard to beat. They are my back ups to a high dollar pair I use. If your budget is in the $100 range as you said.

As others have already mentioned, I'd like to see you spend a little more money and upgrade the quality of your binocular considerably. My main binoculars are a 25 year old pair of Bausch & Lomb 7X42 Discoverers and a pair of Vortex Diamondback 12X50 binoculars. The B&L was my main binoculars until just a few years ago when I bought the Vortex. I used them for all manner of hunting, including prairie dog hunts. Vortex is a new and popular brand in optics. I, myself, have bought 2 Vortex rifle scopes and the binoculars in the past 4-5 years. I bought the Vortex to have more magnification on the pd hunts. Now I use the Vortex while deer hunting a big power line or "doe hunting" other stands and the B&L for everything else. I say all that to point out that you can save a little money on your upgrade by buying a lower power binocular. Although 10X binoculars have become pretty standard nowadays, for many years the standard binocular magnification was 7X. 7-8X binocs are still very useful. Higher magnification is nice to have, but not always needed. I'd rather see you spend $180 on 7X binoculars than $150 on 10X binoculars. I watched my Vortex binocs for about 8 mos on Amazon at $220 before I caught them on sale at Cabela's for $160.

Here's an interesting comparison of similar Nikon Monarch and Vortex Diamondback binoculars; both are highly rated.
Vortex Diamondback vs Nikon Monarch. My main point is they're both fine binoculars.

These are now only $119 and they're better than a lot of binocs that cost twice as much.

As others mentioned, the vortex line is good. Whichever you go with, make sure it comes with the lifetime warrenty.

As a side, I just got on some $1100 10x razors and holy hell they are good. The money is in their low light capability.

I have a pair of these and second them for decent cheap binos. For the sake of compactness though, many hunters prefer roof prism design instead of the poro prism utilized in these leupolds, just FYI.

As a brag, I just picked up a pair of Leica Geovid R 10x42 rangefinding noc'ers and I am beyond pumped about them. Had it narrowed down to those and the Vortex Fury HDs and there was no comparison between the glass side by side. The Leicas are amazing (but a liiiiitle outside of the $100 budget for the OP):

ETA2: Now this makes me look like an arse for posting this right after Junky said he got some Vortex glass. Not intended that way. The Razor HDs are some fine fine glass no doubt and Vortex makes great stuff and backs it with an insane warranty (best in the business no doubt). Just in my case, the Geovid Rs were the better option than the Fury HDs (and admittedly I paid more for them).

I pulled the trigger and got the Bushnell Binocular Bundle: Trophy XLT 10x42 Binoculars (Bone Collector Edition). I increased my budget after reading a lot of talks thoughts.
I got em for $140 after tax and it came with the harness. Thanks for all of y’alls input. This board is one of the few places a guy can ask a question and get legitimate feedback.
