quote:no but he made the news again with an ATV / UTV crash that left a passenger crippled.
Was this the same kid that rammed a boat at Wham and hurt the other boat driver?

Found the court case and the incident report from the green jeans
"Sgt Harrell and I launched our patrol vessel at the Civic Club Ramp on the Ouachita River and began our
patrol Sgt Harrell and I made our way north into the Upper Ouachita NWR and began conducting license
and compliance checks on multiple waterfowl hunters It is noted that this particular morning presented
temperatures in the 20's with clear skies While patrolling near the south boundary of the north closed
section of the Molicy Unit Sgt Harrell and I
stopped our vessel to listen for duck hunters actively calling and
shooting Upon stopping Sgt Harrell turned the motor off and we immediately heard one single shotgun
shot along with someone shouting The single shot and the shout came from a location due east of our
location approximately 80 yards away and just south of the closed to hunting section Sgt Harrell and I
noted
the shot and briefly remained at the location in order to document activity We continued to hear the nearby
group of hunters calling at ducks that were flying overhead Sgt Harrell and I waited until the sky cleared of
ducks and then started our motor and began our approach to the hunter's location Sgt Harrell was
operating our vessel standing upright and I
occupied the front of the vessel in a kneeling position As we
entered a small open area of water being hunted by the group one of the hunters later identified as Carson
Reed Mckoin DOB 91803 intentionally shot Sgt Harrell and I
with a Benelli 12 gauge shotgun The
weapon was later determined to be loaded with 3 inch size 4 steel shotgun shells The pellets from the
shotgun hit our enforcement vessel with multiple pellets hitting Sgt Harrell and myself Sgt Harrell and I
were approximately 45 yards from Mckoin located just outside of the hunting decoys when he fired his shot
Sgt Harrell and I
were wearing clearly marked LDWF issued enforcement uniforms with enforcement labels
showing on our uniforms and PFDs The law enforcement labels on our visible life jackets were approximately
3 inch by three inch and of a bright yellow nature Sgt Harrell and I
immediately began verbally identifying
ourselves as Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Agents We observed five duck hunters in
possession of shotguns wearing camouflage and chest waders standing nearby in waist deep waters Sgt
Harrell and I made contact with the group of five duck hunters and I asked to know who was the person
responsible for shooting Sgt Harrell and 1 Mckoin raised his hand and stated he had fired the shot I advised
Mckoin to get in our patrol vessel and placed him under arrest double locked and checked for tightness"

"One of the subjects in the group identified as Kijak became argumentative and stated that Mckoin didn't
shoot yawl he shot to the right of yawl Kijak stated that yawl should be out here in the early mornings
trying to catch these people coming in early Kijak also began asking me what Mckoin was getting charged
with because he needed to be able to tell his dad something I
advised Kijak that he could tell Mckoin's dad
what he had done and that he could find him at the Morehouse Parish Jai"

20 years is a lot of time for some spoon bills.
Seems like he’s getting 20 Years for being a complete fricking idiot. I’d assume this harsh of a sentence is being influenced by prior similar behavior. Doubt he’s just a dumb kid with an undeveloped brain. Would be interested to see what prior run ins he’s had with the law.
