No middle man. Sold directly from them and sold only online through them.

Their steel toe and composite toe boots are absolutely awful though.

I posted this on another thread..

Warehouse sale was announced on Facebook.. think people in line were saying that they normally have a warehouse sale once a year. This was the first time in Houston. In the past may of been held in Austin or San Antonio. It was in Mid August of 2018 and it started at 9:00am.. I got there a little after 8:00am and there was probably at least 300 hundred people waiting in line at that point.
Caiman $275
Lizard $175
Ostrich $200
Suede $125
Calfskin $125

What’s the catch with these? Why are they half the price of Lucchese?

Like others said they only sell direct. I may do like them and start off with a pair of calfskin or suede to try them out.

only issue I have with them is that they only have one width.

I have long narrow feet. I wear a 14 narrow. Unfortunately they don't make those.

The shoes in my closet have a 1.5 +/- in size difference. How do they (Tecovas) size relative to say Nike, New Balance, Johnston & Murphy, or Ariat for anyone that has Tecovas and one of the brands I mentioned?

I have a pair of Chocolate Wyatt Ostrich in my cart.

Will probably complete the order later today. Only holdup is if I truly prefer the Pecan color.

Any other reviews about the Tecovas belts?

I was leaning towards the Chocolate color in Ostrich.

Order them in the same size as a dress shoe. In your case, the J&Ms. I have worn J&M in the past in the same size as my Tecovas. The same for Allen Edmonds if you know your size in those.

I have 2 pairs and a belt, I would recommend ordering the wide size

This. I have two pair and a belt as well. They are great. a notch below Lucchese but still very very good but they do run narrow. Order half size smaller and wider than the tennis shoe you wear and you'll be good to go

Same size as my Johnson & Murphy's. By the way, best pair of boots that I own.

Get a pair of Justin 4491s. They've been my last three pair, and I'm gonna stick with them

And made in mehico is the reason for their price. Belts are only 1-3/8” wide so pretty much dress belts but prices are good.
Looks like Gordon’s wearing a pair on tv.

I'm torn between the Calf and Suede. Leaning towards the Roper though.
