I just ordered 3 pairs.

11D
11EE
10.5EE

I normally wear a 11D in Ariat and Lucchese.
Called Tecovas customer service and told them that I would like to try them on side by side VS ordering one at a time. They said no problem at all and that they would be happy to refund any of the ones that I did not want.

I wear an 11D in just about every shoe I’ve ever worn. But in Ariats and Lucchesse’s I’m a 10D. The first pair of Tecovas I ordered were 10.5D, fit great in toe room but like everyone says were narrow. The 10.5EE are perfect.

I'm a 10.5 D as well. I sent them back for a 10.5 EE.

What skin did you buy? Interested to learn how yours fit, please update us once you decide what’s best.

I may have to do the same as you. I’m going to order a pair in ostrich. I normally wear 8.5D in all shoes. I tried on a pair of Lucchese Ostrich in that size and they fit perfect. I bought a pair of Tony Lama leather boots in 8.5D from an online retailer and they fit tight in my instep, especially my left foot. Since I bought them for only $75 and for everyday wear, I don’t my stretching them out, but with the Tecovas, I prefer to get the best fit as possible.

Lizard in chocolate.
I have a few pairs of ostrich that I wear to work, but I started wearing my dark shite kickers to change it up. Thought that chocolate lizards would do the trick.

If I like them, I love the caimen. However, I wasn't going to spend that without trying them out first.

Ill report back and let yall know how they compare to a good broken in pair of Ariats and Lucheese.

Update:

I purchased 11D, 11EE, and 10.5EE.
I normally wear a 11D in Ariat and Lucheese.

I am keeping the 10.5EE.
The 11EE were just too big. I tried to convince myself they would fit, no go. The 11D were silly narrow. Their measurements are indeed off from other companies.

These are the chocolate lizards.

My father-in-law came over right when I opened the boxes. He has no idea what size he wears, but loved the 11D and kept them. Now I only have one pair to return.

I normally wear a 13 wide in luccchese, the Tecovas wide would be too narrow eh? Yes, I have Sasquatch feet.

Try the 13EE Tecovas. They are a decent bit wider than a normal D.

So when you went to the EE you also went a size smaller? I guess I'll find out in a few days.

been having issues with my ostrich ariats. side seam on the right boot is KILLING me and i think it has to do with the way i walk. would hate to sell them but I may have to.

just ordered a pair of bourbon calf ropers with a matching belt to see if the issue is present in another brad. will give feedback later and order more if i like them. both their ostrich and caiman look solid, and i love those soft shafts

I wear every damn pair of shoes out on the outside of the heel like below. I've never been told that I walk weird but it's consistent. I don't guess that I'll change the way that I walk at 41 so I'll just have to get the heels replaced like once per year.

Happy with mine, but I probably could have gone 1/2 size smaller in EE. I went with the Suede in Granite

Half a size smaller, in EE fit me perfectly. You have gorilla feet, so no telling though.

Carson, Ariat Cobalt Quantum's? Same issue, if so. Put some tape on the rough patch for a week when you get sore, take it off after a week, repeat. Best pair of boots after toughening up my calves a bit.

I have some Georgia Boots that fit well.

I’d just need to try them on

Quantum Classic and Quantum Brander

it's not so much a rubbing issue, it's just a nagging soreness from the side seam on the right boot. an inward crease forms right below the ball of my ankle and just jabs me all day. even hurts to wear them while sitting down. weird because my Ramblers don't do this (they're much softer)

im gonna try and work the spot out with a baseball bat and some stretch spray.

How do you like them? I'm thinking about a pair of ropers in granite suede.
