I think a lot of people had problems with the first generation of ecoboost. But if the reliability is there then there’s no downside to those turbos. F150 will run circles around my Tundra.

Yup It’s not hard to do that.

You either get an extremely capable off-road truck right out of the factory, or you get a fairly nice SUV with creature comforts. That is, if you’re trying to stay around 40k in the two door, 45k in the four door.

If you build it for both trail rig & “luxury” comforts, it’s easy to get in the mid 50s or higher.

ETA: You can find a sweet spot for both but you essentially need to forego the suspension lift & 35s. I may go this route anyways and put this on aftermarket in a year. I don’t necessarily need the front and rear lockers that come with the Sasquatch package.

Even without the SAS package, it’s a capable 4x4.

Any experience with Matt Bowers Ford? They are offering a nice incentive to deal with them. I’m willing to make the drive over for it.

I was driving through the Texas Hill Country and came across 3 Auto Transports unloading Broncos at an area called Bronco Ranch. Looked it up out of curiosity and Ford is doing some sort of driver experience. Look up Bronco Offrodeo online. Apparently there’s 4 locations, Las Vegas, Moab and some place in the NE. This was about a mile west of Horseshoe Bay Resort outside of Marble Falls TX.
Looks pretty cool.

I think Ford has sunk a lot into this because of the massive delays on the Bronco's.

But yes, if you have one on order, you can go for free to any of these ranch locations to test drive one. You have to make an appointment.

Have seen two different ones in the past few days. Both with Michigan plates.

First one was a dark blue/black color with bigger tires and black rims. Top was off and it looked great.

Was able to snap a quick picture of the second one. A little bit domesticated it still a good looking ride.

We're about to make our yearly Moab run.

I'm going to be on the lookout everywhere.

It's the only domestic product to tempt me in ages.

I love the 2.7 and I love the styling.

I do NOT like the transmission. But it is what it is.

The Sashquatch package and V6 are in higher demand than Ford planned for so there are delays for those.

I read that Ford has all production covered with deposits thru 2022. Hope that’s not true.

Get friendly with a lot of dealers. Maybe someone got tired of waiting and will back out.

Saw one on the MRB yesterday. Black 4 door soft top. Going the opposite direction so I didn't get a great look at it but it looked pretty good

They're doing media drives around Austin the last few days for sure.

I've seen quite a few up here. There are two in my fairly small neighborhood. One of my son's buddies has one and a girl in his class at school. How'd you like that for your 1st car at 16?

4 Wheel Parts in Houston had one when I was getting new tires put on my F150. They were doing a prototype design lift for it back in February. It was a 6" lift and had 37" Toyo MT's on it. It was fricking sweet looking.

You’re not seeing Bronco’s, you’re seeing the Bronco Sport which started delivering late last year and is a completely different platform. Bronco’s aren’t to the dealers yet. First ones just started shipping.

Since you fail at posting a gif in this thread but instead typed that shite out, I will leave it at I didn't think it would be appropriate to take a pic of a prototype lift going on a build that was actually in the owners shop.

I'm sure Google can be ur friend here.

Anybody take delivery of theirs and talk about the experience with the dealership when doing so? Down payment and financing were discussed once it was delivered? I’m interested, but have never ordered a vehicle before

Have not received mine. Hell I don’t even have a build date yet on a day 1 reservation , but I can share what I expect from conversations with my dealer and others on Bronco forums. Dealer and I both signed the order sheet when final build sheet was completed to lock in price. All finance conversation take place after the dealer receives the vehicle and you commit to purchase. (Placing the order does not commit you to make the purchase.) I have heard of others who did not get a dealer signature on the build sheet and after delivery, the dealership tried to tack on ‘market adjustments’ up to $20k. This is frowned upon by Ford and you can fight them over it, but it’s easier and more effective to just get the signature locking in your price at the beginning.
