Just ran to Arcadia so me and REB Jr could take a dump and grab a burger. Rain has slacked way off and it looks clear to the west, so we hauled arse back to the stand. Plan on sitting till we kill or it gets dark...which ever comes first.

Very quiet over here. Thought deer would be moving after rain ended.

Same here, I've been on a pipeline all day (other than about 1.5 hours for lunch) and I can see 1000 yards one way and about 200 the other, and nothing has crossed all day.

I've seen a spike and a doe feeding on acorns in the last 15 minutes. My cameras show a lot of activity between 3 and dark.

making 1st hunt of the year. my dad killed a 6 pt off this stand yesterday evening. still got a 12pt, 10pt, and 8pt on camera.....hoping for one of the big boys

Went out this morning but didn't make it long in the rain. Back out until dark hoping to at least see a deer. I had 3 turkeys come to the feeder about 15 minutes ago.

Me and Jr are back at is the stand. Edge of the big muddy, drizzling, box stand with a .223. Jumped a doe and a button head walking in. Button head stopped and he had it broadside at 50 yards. I'm no Reb Beer, much to his disappointment.
