MMA would be pretty legit.
pretty hard to do this in a tournament style over 2 weeks. Unless its a team thing and one US fighter fights round one and if he wins a different US fighter fights round 2 and so on.
Or doing a point thing where different endings count for different amount of points but even then how do you guarantee that one country doesn't get easier matchups than another?

There will be some sort of stand up paddle board event either in 2028 or 2032.

Bass fishing, no live scoping though...

did you see footage from the European disc golf festival last weekend?
Paul went McBeast and made a run on Ricky. Really nice to see the two of them still battling it out. Paul would not have missed the putt on 18 five or six years ago.
The US still has the most players and rounds played but the Northern Euro countries crush us in rounds per capita. In the end, it is primarily a Euro/US/Canada sport. That alone might limit its Olympic appeal.

BJJ is a natural fit because MMA would be too violent I'm sure for Olympic tastes, plus the big UFC type guys would never compete for no money.
Plus, it's not 1995 anymore, so I'm sure a tournament style wouldnt work either.
Thats where BJJ is much more of a natural fit for that setting. Only problem is, not a single top competitor in BJJ would ever enter the USADA/WADA PED pool.

Long distance shooting. They should walk it out and see who can shoot the farthest.

Motocross. If BMX can be a sport, so can mx. As a fan, I think it would be awesome to see the best in the world race on the world stage. I guess we do get it with the MX of Nations, but it’s not at that audience level.

Call me crazy, but tug of war was a historic event and could be really fun.
