About 10 minutes ago I just a thousand birds fly by. It’s still cloudy so not the eye I’ve always heard about but it’s still cool I can say I’ve been in the eye of a hurricane

An unofficial weather station near Lake Hermitage reported
sustained winds of 64 mph (103 km/h) and a gust to 86 mph (138

Winds are still 40 or so mph in Grand Isle on the backside of the storm.

Charlie flew through FL like this in 2005. It really did a number on trailers and live oaks. Good luck to any of you that have either.
