And I’m not talking YouTube TV. Just regular YouTube. I pay around $12 a month for YouTube Premium to avoid the commercials. It’s better than Direct or Dish or any cable service.

The amount of really interesting shite you can watch is infinitely better than any of these lame $100 plus a month services out there.

Tons of great live content, excellent interview programs, sports, movies, everything.

Cut the cord over a year ago and it was one of the best decisions ever.

Why don’t you make a TikTok about it?

Too many tards making random “content”. I’ll stick to my cult and murder shows on Netflix.

Your recommendations are generally as accurate Peej's weather forecasts.

So thanks?

Me and my son watch more youtube than any other streaming service/cable combined. I've been looking into getting the ad-free service.

For multiple accounts, however, it's 22.99/month. Still probably worth it.

Once my cable service went black literally seconds before the opening of CFB Thursday night I switched to YTTV and love it, I hate I didn't do it sooner. My only 2 real gripes are:

-Not being able to customize the split screen on sports, although something like that doens't exist on cable so it's not really an apples to apples complaint
-Lack of a fricking previous channel option. If I'm on a show and want to flip back to the other show I was just watching it takes 5 gotdamn button click. Down button to bring up the menu, down again to your options, down to select that last channel on was on from the options of previous channels to choose from, a box pops up asking if I want to join live or rejoin from last leave off, then hit the OK button. It should not take 5 clicks to simply go back to the channel I was just on.

I agree with you OP. I come home and flip on YouTube every night. I'd says 90% of my viewing these days is from YouTube. Also if I need to know how to fix something or figure something out I use the YouTube search and find what I'm looking for 100% of the time

Switch to BRAVE browser and it blocks all ads.

I probably watch more Youtube than any other streaming option. It's amazing how regular people are putting out top-notch content.

It's crazy they just introduced that feature this summer, so hopefully they continue to develop it.

PS Vue used to let you customize its split screen years ago, so it can't be that hard to do.

Yes it does, but the only option is FUBO TV streaming through apple TV. Apple bought the rights through FUBO for the user to customize 4 available options, you can choose any sport you want. FUBO on say ROKU, Android TV, Amazon Stick will not allow it, it’s only FUBO on Apple TV. Every Saturday I use it, choosing whatever games I want.

With so much free content out there how do the major networks still make so much money? Those news anchors are paid a fortune.

I agree 100%. Aside from watching sports I watch YouTube way more than any streaming service and I pay for premium (comes with YouTube music and free too)
