What exactly would your title and job description be?
Not sure, haven't gotten that far. Not seriously considering it. Looking for confirmation that my thinking is correct lol
But he's looking for someone to run the show and he step back

Become a plant operator and only work 3 12's making 100k

I'd take it.
You won't make that doing engineering. Plenty of engineers make that, but they're managing engineers at that point...which for me isn't why I went into it.

I'd consider it but without knowing what my job description would be I'd have to pass.

Yeah, without turnarounds & OT, that don't happen either

Suppose it's a family friend that just fired the last 2 for stealing and would give his left nut for someone to run it right. Pretty sure he's demanding though
Pass.

Training to take run the biz is all I know. Been in biz 15-20 years, very popular, but local

Where is this company based out of?
Posted on 8/13/17 at 3:54 pm to Schmelly
Sophomores in engineering don't know shite. That's never happening
Posted on 8/13/17 at 3:54 pm to Schmelly
Nobody is offering a college kid that unless your uncle runs the company.
Posted on 8/13/17 at 3:58 pm to Schmelly
The volatility & the fact that I would have no interest in what I'm doing other than potentially making more money is the reason I'm not really considering. I quit on school now, that's a wrap. No going back. And even if I did, full paid scholly is gone

Yall fricks can't read. You'd prolly be passed over too
Posted on 8/13/17 at 4:05 pm to Schmelly
Does it have to stay 12s? I'd take it on the condition they hire an admin.

I dont understand the situation regarding a soph in college. What does that matter?
