Absolutely would think hard about it.

5 12s really isn't that difficult as a young man with no other responsibilities unless you are doing hard labor. People that say otherwise are just lazy.

$33/hr is probably less than what you would make in Engineering out of school.

If you land the right position, you could easily be at $85K out of school working 40 hours per week.

Stick with Engineering. frick the 60/hr work week.

I'm rolling 5 12's and 1 - 10 a week lately. But I'm making more than $33 in my first 40. So I'm taking the quick money before finding a normal schedule job.

I don't think you realize that construction engineers make much less than you think, unless they're management. Even with a pe, it's usually less than 70k. And you're still working 50-60.

Company goes under or gets bought out you have no degree to get a new job.
