My dad's maroon 1986 Chrysler New Yorker when I was in college. No A/C. No power steering

First car I bought was a blue 1991 Ford Explorer.

1972 International Scout II.

No where near as nice as the picture above. It was primer grey with bondo spots. It also had a "flintstone hole" rusted through on the passenger side floorboard.

1976 Honda Civic. Car was bullet proof. Couldn't kill it no matter how hard I tried. It saw a lot of levee parties. Ask my father....car could run with no oil in it. ;)

Team Corona!

Mine was a '72, red, with a black vinyl top. $250 bucks in 1982.

The paint was oxidized to hell, and looked like someone had cleaned it with a wire brush. Still loved that car.

1974 Ford Maverick in some ugly sky blue color that I had to share with my sister. It was a 4-door so it didn’t even pretend to look sporty like the 2-door version.

However, on the weekends, my Dad would let me drive a 1964 Austin Healey that I helped him keep running. That car would haul arse but the black interior would peel the skin off your body in the summer and the car was designed without locks, so we could never take it and leave it parked somewhere.

1994 honda accord. I totaled it a week later. Then a had a 1987 ranger, and it was slow as molasses. But I miss that truck.

I had an '85 240 DL. Could not destroy that car. I tried.

My parents had an 84 240 DL wagon 4 cylinder and drove it until around 2000. Other than the ac it was a pretty solid car. The Volvo turbos and the 6 cylinders were the ones than seemed to have issues.
