My dad's truck was exactly like this one. Gave it to me between 10th/11th grade. Drove it for 5 years.

Some days I still wish I had it for nostalgia sake.

1983 240 Volvo Turbo. I still have dreams that I'm driving it. I got in the summer of 94 before my junior year and drove it until I was sophomore in college. I rocked it with two Kicker 10s and my JVC 12 disc changer in the glove box. Only skipped everytime I hit a bump. The crank sun roof only leaked everytime it rained

85 something Peugeot. Got it in 89. Ran like shite. It would just randomly not start. Come back next day and it would start. Got stranded many high school afternoons.

In about 1993, I got an old Ford truck ('81 model I think) that had the column shift (three gears), no power steering or brakes, and no air conditioning. I would get a pretty good workout driving it in the summer time.

I drove it for about a year and must have had a guardian angel that kept me from getting in any wrecks. None of my friends could drive it, even those that could drive other manuals. When I was done with it, my dad gave it to his friend's son but he couldn't drive it either after a couple of months of attempts.

Son of a bitch could haul some serious arse. My parents should never have let me drive that as a 16 year old.

1989 Buick Century. Got it for $500 in 2002. Lived in such a safe town and the car was such a POS that I left the keys in the ignition over 50% of the time.

I knew someone that had a primer black Hornet that was fast as shite. His didn't look like much but there wasn't much that could keep up with it.
