It really was a piece of shite but I had fun with it. My parents thought it would be a good safe car but it was constantly in the V Shop for repairs. The AC and the turbo were the biggest and most costly issues.

Pic isn't of mine, but it was this 1997 Ford Escort. I could barely fit in it. It was such a piece of shite.

My dad committed 2 cardinal sins:

1. Let me get assraped on price (I'm ashamed to even say how much I paid - it was 10 years old)

2. Let me buy a late-90s domestic sedan in the first place; fuel pump and spark plug issues, interior was a joke - felt like it would fall apart at 80 mph, tranny went out about when you'd expect.
