Boudreaux was suspended without pay for two 12-hour shifts and placed on probation later in 2001 after he allegedly helped a woman break into her ex-boyfriend’s home. The woman was the daughter of a Sheriff’s Office employee, and the home was located in the Lafayette Police Department’s jurisdiction, according to records.

Commits a crime and only gets a 24 hour suspension. Anyone else would have been arrested. Probably the only reason he was disciplined is because the crime occurred in another jurisdiction.

Years of bullshite with this guy has finally caught up to him. He's gotten away with it for this long and he'll go out in flames. This is great to watch b/c he's too stupid to know it's over. I'll enjoy the freefall and laughs from here on out.

The councilwoman had the intelligence to know it was over, step down, and not drag this thing out. Chief Boudreaux does not seem to have that to work with.

Wow that was embarrassing for boudreaux. Called a reporter trash on 2 occasions. Sounded completely oblivious to the gravity of what he and his officers did.

And kudos to the 2 minorities who asked what typically happens to them in the same situation. That will all come out in the investigation.

Don't let the haters fool you. It's the best of worlds. Country enough for the kids to walk to the local convenience store, but only 15 minutes from Costco. The Complex is great and ARCA is the future.

You’re not doing Youngsville any favors by listing proximity to a Costco as some massive plus

Supersaint prefers a more quaint community. One in which there is very little turnover. New residents come and go every 3-5 years with some staying for life. A community where your meals are catered daily and they have scheduled outdoor community activities.

That was exactly what I expected. Throwing the council member under the bus for asking him to fix a ticket was next level. “Good luck removing me”
