Assuming you can alter paths, definitely past. Future seems like it would be an iterative function whereby, you change your future, thus what your future self tells you is void.

If can’t alter paths, then future, and hope they tell you things worked out better than you ever imagined.

Obviously you pick future self, assuming the difference between the two is equidistant.

My initial thought was past, but the truth is my past self would NEVER listen to any wisdom current me would try to bestow.

I'd be better served going forward and asking my future self what things I've done from today forward were the worst mistakes and try and avoid them the second time around.

This, then do light weights and heavy cardio. I am going to need to stay around a long time, running through interest.

Past, for sure. To tell me not to get married so young, and to marry someone who actually wanted kids. I regret wasting my fertile years with someone who kept putting me off and putting me off, til it’s probably too late.

The flip side of that bums me out, though. I love my current husband, and wouldn’t be with him if things had worked out differently.

Past . I’d handle a situation that led to an estrangement differently. And Is give myself the obligatory powerball information and history information on stuff like 9-11.

Yeah, thats the thing. Change something in the past and you change your life in other ways. That being said, bitcoin and not quitting football senior year, work out everyday, hard. Would want to go back to the day I got out of the 8th grade.

Never start drinking.

I was perfectly happy and successful never drinking. Had my first sip of alcohol at 24 and have battled alcoholism on and off ever since. Cost me career advancements several times in my prime, a marriage, and several personal relationships not to mention embarrassment. I’ve been fine for a few years now, but always wonder where I’d be if I didn’t totally tank my late 20s and most of my 30s.
