Be careful with podiatrists. They aren’t real doctors. Costanza got into podiatry school. Plus they deal in fungus. They are knee deep in fungus. Fungi.

I'm not afraid of needles, except for that one that they use to deaden your toe in several spots. That motherfricker hurts!

You ain't lying! One time my podiatrist was training a nurse on how he does the surgery and mentioned that sometimes the needle goes all the way through the bottom of your toe, but if the anesthetic is already working just don't mention it and keep going. Then the bastard leans the chair back so I couldn't see and I realized why he brought it up

Yes it does. Still recall that after having my tone done 25 years ago.

I used to get them all the time from wrestling in high school. I’d get them bad with pus and blood filling my socks. Had the doc dig it out 3-4 times before he did the whole kill the nail surgery on both big toes.
Haven’t had an issue since and that was about a decade ago.
I don’t remember but other than being able to watch the doc shove pliers into my toe and rip the nail off; super interesting to watch. I also remember the deadening shot hurting like a mofo.

I'm guessing your wife doesn't have a foot fetish...

I've had to have that done a couple times over the years, and at 67 I'm hoping I'm done with it.
Hell, the shots to deaden the area stung more than the procedure in my case. I took care of it the best I could for a long time, but it just kept digging and digging into the skin and got infected a bit and it was time to see a pro.

Same. Had it done about 5 years ago and never had a problem with it since

I had both nails on my big toe removed when I was a kid because they failed to grow properly after years of being ingrown.
Soak the toe in epsom salt and white vinegar for a few days and you'll be good to go.

I could have fixed your toenail with a small piece of cotton and a pair of tweezers in less than a minute.

I had that done back in 1987 and haven't had a problem since. I mean the one where they chemically burn it to where it won't grow back. Before that my small town MD just numbed it and ripped the entire f'n nail off and that didn't work.

Had one in highschool. The part where they inject your toe with anesthesia hurt like an absolute son of a bitch

My dad was sitting in the waiting room when I got mine done and said he could hear me cussing when they stuck the lidocaine shots in my toe (one on each side). Doctor gave zero warning, I just thought I was getting a regular shot and expected a pin prick...
I will say, I still get ingrown toenails and the procedure has forever changed the "texture" of my big toenail if that makes sense. It's mainly due to cutting them way too short and then they grow all fricked up down into my nail bed. I do bathroom surgery every few weeks to prevent them from getting infected though. shite sucks, but it beats having long arse nasty toe nails.

Then it grows back. Rinse and repeat.

First you drink the rubbing alcohol, then what?
