re: Dog going in heat; should I sleep with her?

Put an men’s xl adult diaper on her. Cinch the edges tight. Cut tail hole.
Cheap and easy. No mess. Take off to let her out. Then she can get in your bed for comfort. First cycle or two kind of scare them imo

Is Sorbetto the equivalent to bearded IPA drinkers, or just good?
Posted by sloponmyZZtop on 12/18/19 at 4:10 am
I love bluebell original vanilla. always have always will. Also like buttered pecan and Kong’s cake.
But a good sorbet or sorbetto is pretty good too. Currently snacking on some talenti Alfonso mango - dairy free sorbetto. It’s pretty damn good ngl. Any other good sorbetto/sorbet flavors from supermarkets? The shops around the French quarter are unbelievable but for grocery store, it’ll do.
Thanks guys

What do you feed?
mine eats grain free Blue Buffalo salmon with a lb of raw venison.
I think a lot of labs have chicken and grain allergies and that’s a very common ingredient in 99% of foods. Its expensive but her coat is always shiny and she is built like a bodybuilder.

9ft??
We did ours based on a study they did in Tx that tested the # of deer at different heights and diameters. They found 32” was the and 30ft diameter to make deer most comfortable.
I still haven’t actually seen a live deer stand inside of a fence and didn’t expect to ever see one during daylight in it, until my pops shot a 6 point in one.

Appreciate all the responses guys.
To the assclown that suggested a diet, in 6’5 ~200 lbs. don’t really need to “lose weight”. Just want to be active and healthy since I’ve been out of the gym so since ending my baseball career.
Always loved watching MMA of all kinds. Heard a to of positive things about BJJ and Jiu-Jutsu in general.
Figured I might as well take the plunge before I’m past my mid 20’s. My job is a workout, I want to learn some skillz.
Will definitely take the advice of trying both and picking where I fit best.
Thanks again doods

Considering Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu, any experience?
Posted by sloponmyZZtop on 12/3/19 at 11:42 pm
We have a local Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu gym that I was wanting to start. There’s also a Gracie gym and from what I’ve read it’s sport vs street (GBJJ being sport and GJJ being more self defense).
I’m looking to get in better shape but also would love to learn grappling technique some.
Anybody ever done GBJJ, GJJ or both? Which comes more recommended?

I let a hammer slip on a 20 ga single shot when I was probably 7-8. Blew a nice hole in the ground right in front of me. Forever ingrained in my mind what a shotgun would do to a human and my gun safety went through the roof and I still envision a blown off head when duck hunting with others.
Be careful guys. People get complacent and think that 30,40,50,60 years of gun handling means it’ll never happen to them. Famous last words amirite
re: TOPS meant to keep college educated people in LA, instead it is funding TX's workforce

which is socialist anyway
How is it socialist to award students various levels of tuition scholarship based on their high school grades/ACT score?
I worked my arse off to have A & B grades in Dual Enrollment and AP classes. Took the ACT 6 times, spent several weekends at ACT prep courses and ended up with a 32.
The state felt I deserved some tuition assistance as I seemed like an appropriate college candidate.
So let’s say Bill Joe that makes C & D grades, takes the ACT once and makes a 16 gets the same tuition assistance.
Now THAT would be socialism my friend.
TOPS is a great program that rewards students that try in school and have the potential to finish college and become a working, educated member of our state.
Given that not everybody gets TOPs and there are tiers based on your scores, it’s most definitely not socialism as much as a failed investment into the state.
Problem is the extreme lack of quality jobs and the horrible salary. Cost of living is low, but salary to cost of living doesn’t compute outside of property, houses and cigarettes.
Most everything is pretty universally priced across the country with online shopping being so prevalent.
And those prices are typically around a price that is a bit higher than the cost of living of say Monroe, La Century Link.
TOPs is failing the state as it is. BUT that can all change and here is my suggestion on how to do it.
That all said to say: I say you work in La. until a portion of your taxes pays off HALF of what it cost to get you through college.
Have a special tax for post TOPs grads. Set it up similar to a 401k where employers will match (employers don’t have to, but would incentivize people to work for them) how much you elect to pay back each check.
This would essentially be a 50% off student loan, no interest and potentially 75% off if the employer matching worked out.
The state gets a portion of the scholarship back, saving money. They also keep TOPs grads in state for a few years minimum. Depending how long the student wants to pay it back for (interest free), they may have just gotten a new lifelong educated worked paying back $10 a month until he retires.
Just a thought.

Yeaaaahhh I know.
Hoping I can throw my older 14x32 in the deal to get it a bit cheaper. Has a busted floor to side joint back by the transom.
Never could get the paperwork completely so I just hunted it a couple of years and when the registration sticker expired put it under the shed.

Why do you find it necessary to buy a $2500 Benelli for a first O/U?
Are you already big into trap shooting?
Just getting into it?
If the latter, I’d suggest a much cheaper Yildiz for ~$350.
It’ll go bang and comes highly recommended on this board.
If you are using the cheaper O/U frequently, in 6 months get ya a Benelli.
When I say cheaper, it is much cheaper in price and I’m sure quality is very much subpar to a Benelli or other $2k+ gun, but it shoots pretty dang good.
I put a slip on recoil pad on (light gun, kicks like a mule), but they also have attatchable ones that look more factory. Just haven’t gotten around to that. But the 1” recoil pad also made it fit a ton better.
I’ve actially been duck hunting with it so far this year because I shoot woodies much better with it than my 870 or Stoeger M3500.
As fast as woodies are and considering I get a lot of left to right or right to left shots, I do much better with the lighter O/U.
For the price, you can’t beat it man.
I’ve shot it side by side my passed down from my father Browning and although the Citori is absolutely amazing in every aspect, as far as hitting clays/birds goes, the Yildiz stacks up just fine.
Edit: if you insist of OT balling on this purchase, get the Browning Citori 725. Promise you won’t regret it.

Thanks for sharing but way out of my price range. Looking for just a hull, and well under $1k. More in the $500 or less range. Not looking for a boat to take the girlfriend out in a bikini in.
Just need something to throw my 15hp Merc on and put it on my trailer and try to kill some ducks.

Idk how he made it through that window to the lock. But it’s an older truck with the traditional pull up lock. He had 2-3” to slide through but didn’t have to go far.
I know I fricked up. Just wondering if there’s any chance to get it back

Had a 2-3” crack in my window of my truck. Go into Walmart.
Come out, Springfield XDm 9 was gone from under drivers side seat.
Immediately called cops and went to the security/cam people at Walmart. Right after they showed the video of him walking up, grabbing it and leaving, the cops showed up.
Cop, myself and LPA talked for a second about what transpired, I filled out the stuff because I had the box in the truck so serial # was readily available.
They saw his direction and close. Doubt any cops were dispatched that way looking for a walking man in known attire.
Cop told me it was a 50/50 chance it gets caught in a drug bust/pullover with the gun.
However if they scratch the serial I never get it back (even thought they can still get the # after scratching).
He acted like they scratch them because the charge is less than an unscratched. Thought scratching was extra time?
Anybody ever actually gotten a stolen gun back?
