re: Yesterday I had “surgery” for an ingrown toenail.

Had this done twice in high school by my GP. He hit a nerve both times and my leg throbbed for about 8 hours. As an 18 year old, 6'1" and 180 pounds I cried myself to sleep. I can't imagine worse pain and I've had 5 broken bones. If this happened now I would either go to the ER or drink a fifth of liquor, but my mom was like just take another Advil and suck it up.

Now my toenail just doesn't grow. Pretty gross, but better than the alternative.
