76 during the day
72 at night

but it doesn't really matter as my house is 100 years old and it is going to run from 10 am to midnight every day during the summer no matter what I set it as

Modern houses aren't designed to handle these kinds of fluctuations or high temperatures without creating major issues.

So frick the government and frick you.

I'll set my AC temp to 78 after these Yankee government officials set their heat to 40 in the winter months.

69 or 70 in the Summer. 65 in the Winter (unless Mrs. Midnight bitches too much).

Don't even need an AC unit up there, when it gets """hot""" you can just put a fan on.

I used to be a 69 at night. 72 day guy.

But lately the wife and I've been cold at 72. Been running 75 day, 72 night.

Getting old I guess.

We have checked the thermostat to make sure it's reading correctly.

I'm not paying $12000 for new air conditioners to not use them.

Besides if this administration says to do something it's probably smart to not listen.

We do set it at 78 in the daytime during the summer months and yes we are here all day....75 at night. Keeps the energy bills low and I don't believe that it's really good for you anyway to have that much cold/processed air on you all day long. I'm for everyone else being able to set their temperature where they want it though.
