When you're sleeping, the government suggests you set the thermostat at 82 degrees

Those who blindly followed government instructions regarding covid should do the same with these thermostat settings.

If I set it at 82 degrees to sleep, then I won’t sleep at all. After a while of not being able to work from lack of sleep, I’ll lose my job. Then I won’t be contributing any tax dollars and I’ll have to make major cuts on my spending.
So, by setting my thermostat to 72, I am actually being a better citizen.

They can pry my thermostat from my reasonably cool fingers

If I had my way, this would be 20 degrees too warm.
Eta: I do have my way, now that I think about it. Fortunately for my no-pic-having wife, she likes down comforters.

I have difficulty standing 72 degrees before I feel hot. I feel like Peter Griffin if someone sets it higher or lower than that.

Both of my thermostats will remain at 70 degrees just as they’ve been for for as long as I can remember.

I'm skinny and am sweating balls indoors in the south at 78 and can't breathe. You're a chick right? Or maybe it's the soy.
