I'm not surprised. If you're a law abiding citizen, NOLA doesn't really work for you.
Why anybody, at this point, would want to live there, I have no idea. It doesn't protect you or your property.

The odds are strongly in favor that this dude is gonna get time eventually.
The sad part is in between he's gonna "accidentally" kill somebody. I can only hope the next chick he carjacks pulls a 380 out of her purse and BLOWs him away first.

Nah bro, it's not the "nature" side of the argument, it's the "nurture." If they had grown up with a two-parent household with a strong male father presence, this bullshite would be very few and far between. Do people have tendencies based on their genetics? Sure. But this is about not having learned societal values and living within the same social contract as others. It's not a black thing, it's not a white thing, its a single-parent, low income household thing.
And to add that the left-leaning party in this country has fueled, and moreso encouraged, that lifestyle, is the understatement of the century.

I have a really hard time believing this. I’m not saying that post was a complete fabrication; just unfathomable to think something like that is allowed to happen in the justice system (even in New Orleans).

Problem still comes down to people having low or no expectations for a group and calling it racist to point that out.
