I think you'd be hard pressed to find a college town anywhere in the US without a bar called the library

There was a bar called The Library pn Chimes in BR in the 80s/90s.

There used to be The Library in Alexandria, but it burned down.















Because Alexandria is awful

My mom for two years thought I was studying way more than I was at college since I told her I went to the Library a ton.

See Ole Miss... I think they call it the Harvard of the south or something. The library both on campus and off campus are full of derelicts.

I'm pretty sure theres a bar called "The Library" in every city in Louisiana

That was my favorite hangout after classes or before marching band practice. Was next to The Bayou.

While I never tried to deceive my parents on my drinking, many kids of Bible thumpers do, and that is partially the reason for the Library’s success is kids who have parents that are total idiots.

They had one on Chimes Street one block from campus in the 1980’s. Didn’t go there that often but I remember going there a few times to eat roast beef po boys

Bars named The Library have been around since at least the early 80's on college campuses. Probably earlier.
