I don’t care for a skinny sausage even if is a little longer.

Give be a big girthy Country Pleasin’ Green Onion sausage all day long.

I heard on the radio the other morning they’re moving their operations to Evergreen, AL
They're moving to a new production plant, about 30 miles away in Andalusia (Covington County). The gift shop will remain in Evergreen (Conecuh County).

I grill it. The grease fires make it even better. Then slap it between some bread with mayo.

Same. I'll poke it with my knife when it gets up to temp and let some of that grease out and flare up a bit to brown it really good. But you can't close the lid on the grill and walk away. You will burn it down!

They need to improve packaging.

They need to improve their sausage so that it doesn’t taste like it has dish soap in it. Worst shite I’ve ever tasted.

I don't know about the packaging, but I tried some years ago after reading about it from some folks here. Thankfully, I tried it before using it in gumbo. I didn't care for it.

It's not bad but I've can't say I've ever preferred Conecuh over the local butchers.

Some of y'all must be city slickers

Reb, you sound like you'd like the Earl Campbell smoked sausage. Those links are very girthy. I like the skinny Conecuh cuz they're not spicy.

Sausage so greasy I'm amazed America hasn't invaded it for the oil.
