They're the most aggravating company I've ever dealt with. I canceled my service back at the beginning of summer because the radio didn't get near as good reception as the one in my previous car. It just wasn't worth paying for. They sent me an offer in the mail the other week for 12 months for $60. I figured that was low enough so I went online to subscribe to it. When I tried to redeem the offer they sent me, it kept saying it wasn't valid because the radio (which had been off for 3-4 months) was active. I emailed their support about it. They don't ever do anything but tell you to call. Their email support has to be the most worthless and useless people I've ever dealt with.

I canceled mine thinking I didn't listen enough to justify keeping it. that lasted 3 weeks before I realized I missed it. So I caved and went back.

You know your local radio is bad when you're willing to pay not to listen to it.

Dash Radio is very similar XM and free.

That said, I use XM every day. $5 a month, not a big deal.

Same thing with Spotify.

I wouldn't listen to XM often even even if it was free as the radio.

Beenthat way for years. Just make sure you proactively call them before the year runs out so you can “renegotiate” again. Otherwise $19.50 a month

I hate companies that require you to call in and cancel even though you can make all other changes on their website.

This 100%.

You can upgrade your package and make all sorts of purchases online but god forbid you want to cancel.
