I live 2 miles from campus and somehow the rain has skirted us the whole week. We’ve only gotten .25”

Why is a USL fan worried about what goes on at an LSU Football game in Baton Rouge and watching WWL New Orleans News?

Maybe you have a bit of a complex?

Because I follow Louisiana news? Maybe?

I was surprised it wasn’t already posted here and talked about, especially because like a couple others have pointed out, it has rained recently.

This is racism because Grambling is coming to town.
Fine. We’ll just BBQ in our hotel room.

That’s because the common denominator is about control. People are addicted to it, and it ruins life for people. These people need to go the way of the dinosaurs.

WTF!

Has there ever been a catastrophic fire from a LSU Tailgate?

It’s what it takes to make the grass and foliage around LSU’s campus wet enough to not spark wild fires.

Looks like LSU wasn't aware that the state very recently updated the ban rules.

quote:

These measures include using contained cooking equipment like grills and smokers, designed for cooking purposes only, on a flame-resistant surface with a water source or fire extinguisher nearby.

Now note...

1) Grass is not a flame-resistant surface

2) How many tailgaters have a water source or fire extinguisher nearby?

Look, just be responsible. Grill and boil all you want on concrete, or throw down someting on the grass that is flame resistant. That's it. Just don't be a dumbass.

It would need to be enough to allow the grass, foilage, trees etc suck up enough water given how bone dry they have been as of late.

Several days of multi-inch rain would do that.

A few days of brief passing showers would not, given how much needs to be made up.

Only one I can thik of us the time LSU fans "accidently" caught the building on fire on Auburns campus with a charcoal grill that was left against the building.
Made for some nice tv video during the game when that fire got going.

Everything around me here in SE BR is green as hell right now. So yeah, I’d say it was enough.
