According to the police report the ip address matches his phone. They have video showing him with his phone going into his office before the tweet and closing the door. He then emerges with the phone from the office after the tweet.

Did you pull this from the nola.com article?

Charge him with a hate crime against the station.

It's calculated. It changes the convo from him being wrong and makes it into Chad attacking his minority wife for being offended.

He's the one who brought his wife into public convo when he detailed her feelings about WWL and she didn't want him going on the radio station and then they were all justified when this came about.

First sentence the lawyer says "password access". Then when talking about Seth he only says "access". It seems odd he wouldn't say Seth does not have password access if he doesn't. He then says "password access" again in a later sentence in that paragraph.

Cleverly worded lawyer speak?

I’m sure there are people taking shots at his wife

If you search his mentions no one is mentioning her (unless they're private I guess)

I’m not an internet expert despite staying at a Holiday Inn Express. But does the network log the MAC address or the device in addition to the IP address?

If so, having that MAC address and linking it to the one on his phone helps lock up even further that he did it.

Yes it is all included in the messaging named

InitialUEMessage/Attach request/PDN connectivity request

and the IP of the phone can be found in the message named:

InitialContextSetupRequest/Attach accept/Activate default EPS bearer context

Wow. I didn't want to believe this could be true.

Asking for 1.8 million, whether the harassment was real or fake, is absolutely insane. I don't care if Bobby Hebert himself was posting this and slapping Seth's arse... 1.8 million? Come on.

If so, the next push is getting him to turn over his phone to examine the MAC address, which he will fight tooth and nail because they have proof he had the phone at the time of the tweet.

someone tweet this to T Bob.
You think T-Bob understands UP addresses? Think about the years he played here. He barely understood "push that guy really hard".

What's the crime here?

The crime here is intent to commit fraud, possible blackmail. While it is not really a crime to call someone a derogatory name, it IS a crime to do so fraudulently with the intent of engaging in litigation to secure a settlement payout.

The only problem with MAC id's is that they are not guaranteed to be unique, but its extremely rare.

What they can do is see the ip address of the switch with its MAC address.

He should throw his phone into the Mississippi.

While it is still in his pocket and he's wearing cement shoes.

And he still had a better grasp of the principles of an expiring time clock than anyone on Miles's staff.

Wouldnt matter. The phone had an IMSI associated with the device that IS unique.
