My neighbors just hopped on a plane with their kid and went to Disney World (scheduled to close soon). If they don't get sick, I bet it will be nice and uncrowded.

If they do get sick, it may be tough getting on a return flight. That rental car ride back will suck.

I am not going anywhere during this shite.

Some may be confident going to places where you don’t know who’s been there or who’s around you or who’s preparing your food or who to trust in a declared global pandemic, but not me.

I know corona likely won’t kill me. But it might kill my 75 year old parents or my older co-workers, or my friend’s new baby. I’m not exposing them to anything I might pick up from another city or state and not know I’m carrying it. Stay home.

Not if I had to fly

One person says something and your plane is quarantined

We are scheduled to go to Jamaica the day after Easter. Looking more and more like that will be canceled. Hard to imagine leaving the country right now

I’m in Miramar Beach right now. The spring break kids are here but not as many as usual. Unfortunately I have to head back home tomorrow for work but the wife and kids will stay for the next or two.

Unless you live in a small town, you are just as likely to get it at home as anywhere you travel. That's what the government isn't telling you. Preventing crowds where one person can infect 100s at a time is smart, but we are still going to the store, to the park with kids, to neighbors houses that had other people over, etc.

Especially if you live in a big city, traveling by car is no more dangerous then staying home.

It will be extremely uncrowded, seeing as how they’ll be the only ones there. Disney is closed. No one told them?

We booked a 7 bedroom house for three weeks in gulf shores yesterday with another family. We wanted to be close enough in case we needed to drive back and forth for any reason.

The reservation company said this was the busiest two days they have ever experienced. A lot of houses we were looking at previously, were snatched up quickly. There is still a lot of condos available from spring breakers cancelling at the last minute.

We figured the best thing for our kids is for them to be playing outside in the sun with us grilling every night. Who knows.

They got there this week ahead of the Sunday closing. They knew it was coming.

Now I see reports of bottlenecks in airports due to screening, so their trip home may be another adventure.

Ride it out... same as when you get the flu. There really aren’t any treatment options anyway. All you to is treat the symptoms... Tylenol/Aspirin for fever, etc.
