Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington is debuting Tormenta Rampaging Run – the tallest, fastest, longest, first-and only giga dive coaster (a coaster that is at least 300 feet tall) in the world, according to the theme park's website. The 300-foot coaster will be located in the area's new Spanish village, Rancho de la Tormenta.
"As riders ascend to the lift hill’s peak, they are filled with a sense of anticipation before plunging into a record-breaking 95 degree beyond vertical drop, complete with sharp turns and other exhilarating drops that replicate the thrill of the Running of the Bulls," the website for the ride says.
Not a doubt in my mind that someone will die on this thing!

Looks like the SheiKra or Griffon at Busch Gardens in Tampa and Williamsburg, respectively, just taller.

For some reason, I've never cared for roller coasters with a very wide body where a number of people sit side by side.

I like zip lining and have been on a handful of very nice, high, and long lines but that is a “NO for me dawg!”

Hell yeah. I’ll ride any rollercoaster.

Valravn at cedar point is similar, pretty good ride. Would definitely give it a shot.
Top thrill dragster and kingda ka are both over 400'. But they are not dive coasters

Maybe if someone gets on there with pre-existing conditions and ignores all the warnings. US coasters seriously injure 1 of out 15 million riders. Fatalities are in the range of 1 per 750 million riders. Both of those statistics include people with pre-existing conditions and riders being idiots and ignoring/skirting safety checks.

My 9 year old daughter is a thrill freak so we have season tickets for six flags. She's already said she wants to ride it.
frick that. We rode the drop coaster in San Antonio but that was only 78 feet tall. This bitch is 4 times as high!

Nice looking coaster & honestly you could probably do this one if you can do wood.
The Samurai at Six Flags Atlanta & the Cheetah at Wild Adventures both beat my arse
The Superman, Goliath, & Batman at Six Flags where the smoothest coasters I've ever ridden
