I don't think you grasp what it means to be a billionaire.

Even the safest low interest cd accounts would generate you millions of dollars per year in interest, millions of dollars you could spend on security/privacy if that's your desire.

Honestly I would rather win about 10 million after taxes. Enough to live off of but not something that would turn my life completely upside down.

Nah frick that. Who wants people begging you for money that you haven’t heard from in years? Too many problems to come along with that money. No way.

I'm not saying I wouldn't want to be a billionaire. I'm saying I wouldn't want to win this jackpot.

I don't think you will get the same demographic if you change the name to CockDroppings, just saying.

Do you pretend to be security guard turning in the ticket for pictures?

What name do you sign it the back with? Wasnt there a woman not to long ago somewhere that signed it right away, and then try to sue to try to retract it somehow to go the trust or something route??

OP is correct in asking this. I think most people might lose their current life. Good and bad. You lose your debt, you lose your grind, but you might also lose loved ones. Whatever your temptation is, whatever your vice is, now you can indulge it on an unlimited basis. There is a price to be paid for that, the yin and the yang.

I agree with OP. I have enough now for everything I need. Winning this much money doesn't mean you get to keep your present life with more spending money. EVERYTHING would change, even the things you'd want to stay the same.

You know that anyone can look up the officers of an LLC, right?

Winning this kind of jackpot with all the publicity you will undoubtedly be outed. You and your family will be targeted and probably be ruined. I wouldn't want to put up with all the trouble.

I guess this means, not only that your family is trashy, but also that you know your family is trashy and has done things you would not want revealed.

Maybe try living an honest/clean life and you would not give a rats arse if your name got out.

I would but I believe there has to be a well thought out plan on how you handle all of your new found wealth. Don't go out and spend on material goods just because you can. Set yourself and your family up for a real retirement and then go from there. Live low profile.

No I absolutely would not want to win 1.6 billion dollars.

Working 6 days a week for 80k a year is much more preferable

Why does this happen with a lottery? I know business people with net worths in the 100s of millions and they aren’t targeted.

Anyways 1.6 billion can buy good security. And I would take the annuity as 50 million a year would be easier to manage than a gigantic lump sum

If you're smart you don't really deal with this shite. It's just stupid people who flaunt their winnings that go bankrupt quickly or get scammed
