Well Stalin hated his people so that’ll be a no from me. I have blonde hair and blue eyes so that’s in my favor.

Easily Hitler. As long as you weren't a Jew, Gypsy, Slav, homo, or political rival, you could expect to live a prosperous and safe life in Germany from 1933 until around 1944. Russia was absolute hell for every citizen before and after the war.

It didn’t involve killing off Jews either. The plan was to make them gtfo until Borrman came up with the labor camp idea when Germany’s labor supply wasn’t close to meeting the ridiculous demand. Hitler just never gave a shite and thought it was a great idea. As evil as hitler was....Goring, eichmann, and heydrich were 100 times worse.
Just read 2/3 of Albert Speers books and they are fricking fascinating. By far the most accurate and firsthand account of everything within the nazi party.

I have friends from Saarland (Germans on the French border) who’s family WWII experience was not particularly horrible. At least from what they’ve shared.

You may want to rethink that.
1. He got his whole country leveled and many civilians killed.
2. Hitler issued his give no ground rule to the army. This insured his Army suffered massive casualties. If you got luck the allies captured you. On the Eastern from you were screwed dead or captured.
Hitler was a complete lunatic.
Stalin wasn’t a very good choice either.
