I get paid weekly but I’ve always been bi-curious.

If you make enough money this question does not matter. Nor does monthly or annually. Learn to budget and live within your means.

used to get paid a month in arrears, at this point it doesn't really matter anymore, just starting out it was like, WTF? but I was working two jobs

Our executive staff is paid once a month. That April check is pretty when the bonus comes through.
I got clever with our CEO and said we could reduce our bank fees by switching and maintaining a higher balance because our customers pay on last week of every month.

You get 4 extra paychecks. This year it’s Jan, May, July and Oct.
Explain to us all how you get 28 paychecks in a year with 52 weeks when paid every 2 weeks. We'll wait.

Same, last Friday of the month.

I edited my post to explain that I quickly saw the error of my thinking. Carry on....

This is how I'm paid now, so this. I budget like I only get paid twice a month, so those two "extra" paychecks are always nice.

I used to be twice a months (1st and 15th) but switched to bi weekly several years ago. I preferred twice a month because it was easier to budget since your bills are usually paid on the same day every month and you were always paid on the same day every month it was easy to get a feel for how much money you had during the month on any given day.

Bi-weekly.
I did not like the 1st and 15th military pay.
If you got paid on the 13th due to weekend/holiday, the next check would take forever.

In my first job my boss made me a written offer and said he was going to pay me weakly.

Bi-weekly as in twice a week?
Posted on 1/24/20 at 4:25 pm to SouthEndzoneTiger
Bi-weekly all the way.
26 checks most years and 27 checks every 9-10 years. I'll get 27 checks in 2021, so three 3 check months, and unlike federal government employees, we get that extra check beyond normal salary.
