I remember when this happened. I always felt like there was more to the story because there was a flurry of news about it then complete silence. No pictures of the mom or kids in any of the news articles. Dad hadn't lived in the home for years but was paying a ton of monthly child support. Biological son who lived at home was unhurt. Just a strange, strange story.

I had a friend in high school. Exchange student whose host family had bought the Graham murder house in Shreveport. In 1980, Dr. Graham bludgeoned his wife as she slept with a sledgehammer. The dad always bragged how he had got it “for a song. Just needed a fresh coat of paint in the master bedroom.” Weird guy.

Way too traditional looking. All that wainscotting

I clicked on the Zillow link expecting to see wainscoting on every wall… it was only in the dining room. Which is where wainscoting belongs. You’re dramatic. The house is beautiful. I would LOVE to see your 2m modern house sans wainscoting.

That pool is laughable considering the rest of the house.

I mean...dat pool and tennis court makes up for the blood smell in the rooms and a fresh coat of paint and a couple air wicks will make those 34 rounds a distant memory right?

I could overlook living in a home in which a murder was committed if I got a good deal on it. Ghosts don't exist and houses don't have memories. Any issues beyond public interest (if the murder was high profile) would be all in your head.

That's the most depressing looking pool I've seen in quite a long time.

Big rooms, low ceilings, no inside pizzazz, Columbia TN ... nah. Even if the house had no history ... nah. Challenge the seller has w/ pricing is the thing appears to be recent construction.

Traditional with a big arse garage and another shop on property.

Would have no problem living there.

If you are buying in New Orleans chances are someone has been murdered there.

Everybody has their price. For me, it would be far less that $1.9m.

My adult brother committed suicide at home. It was far less gruesome than this, but was disclosed (required) when the house was put on the market and probably resulted in about a 10% hit on the sale $$.

You just can’t compete with a sledgehammer, I guess. At least it wasn’t Jody.
