I might move to New Hampshire for half my salary. I would have packed my bags and booked a moving van already for double.

New Hampshire kicks arse dude. Also, if you want to hang out with some rednecks, Coos County has you covered.

Nope. Making more doesn’t necessarily equal living better

I traveled the country for a decade and deal with the cold just fine. I don't care for -10 or anything like that but it's not like it would be that cold for more than a few days at a time and not every year.

The rare morning in CONUS that start out in the negatives and have a high around 10 can be miserable if you have to be outside for more than a couple of minutes but that is extremely rare in the NH.

I like you travel a lot and I balk a lot more when I look at the weather where I am going and see high 90s than I so when I see 20s and 30s as the daytime high.

It's an opportunity to leave LA.

What's cost of living like there?

Bro you live in arguably the worst state in th country. I've visited third world counties I'd rather live in than Louisiana. Go and enjoy NH and make more money

There is much truth in that sentence. And if the OP can cook up some Louisiana food he'll make many friends at deer camp.
