Sometimes this can back fire on them.

I work with a guy whose wife didn't take his last name, and they gave each of their kids 3 middle names, one of which is her last name, so each kid has a first name, three middle names with one in common, and his last name.
I find that odd.

All of them are crazy! Those with hyphenated last names more so. So NO!
